Ana Lavdas, the President of AAL Construction Services, has twelve years of experience in the construction field, including residential and commercial/industrial projects in New York and New Jersey. Prior to formalizing AAL Construction Services, Ana’s efforts were instrumental in the clean up and remediation of the 27-acre Oak Point Property in the Hunts Point waterfront in the Bronx. Formerly a practicing chiropractor, Ana is a true entrepreneurial spirit, having started several successful lines of business over the years. Receiving her WBE certification from New York City and New York State, she has become an advocate for WBEs across the city. Her passion also lies in local environmental conservation and workforce development issues. In her leadership, AAL has contributed to the expansion of the South Bronx Greenway, partnered with community-based organization such as The Point, and has committed to hiring and training a local workforce.
Salvo is AAL’s Construction Superintendent. He joined our team at the beginning of 2019 and has more than two decades of experience in the construction field focusing on NYC residential and commercial projects. Salvo has a NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License as well as Construction Health and Safety Technician Certification from BCSP, among other certifications and licenses.
Johnny is the Foreman at AAL Construction Services. He joined AAL in 2017 and has close to three decades of experience working heavy construction equipment as a Foreman and Operator in the New York area, with a specialty in civil site work. Johnny has OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER certification, as well as a CDL.
Rick is a seasoned Operator and has been with AAL since the company’s inception. He has close to four decades of experience in the construction field with 30,000 hours experience in excavation and pipe and site work, 10,000 hours experience in the supervision and demolition of structural steel and concrete buildings up to five stories.
Ayca is AAL’s Director of Business Development. She has close to two decades of experience working in the community and economic development field and assisting nonprofits and small businesses. During her decade-long tenure at a community based organization in the South Bronx, she has raised over $40 million in public and private funding and helped initiate dozens of programs in youth and adult education, business assistance and entrepreneurial development, and workforce. Ayca has significant experience working with city and state agencies and is responsible for AAL’s business development efforts including but not limited to bid identification and development, communications and marketing, as well as compliance.
Brianna is AAL’s Office Administrator. She is instrumental in coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies and procedures. Brianna has five years of experience working in office environments in administrative roles. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the construction sector, Brianna is a true asset to the company with her innate understanding of the field.
